Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,440 per week

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating position in Newburgh, Indiana, focusing on general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and trauma surgeries. This role requires flexible shifts and floating between two campuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the operating room setting as a circulating nurse.
• Work across general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and trauma surgeries.
• Float between Deaconess Gateway and Deaconess Midtown campuses as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations (1x/week and every 6th weekend) with a 30-minute response time.
• Work weekends, holidays, and variable shift start times (0600-0900) as scheduled.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Indiana (IN) or Compact Nursing License.
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years of OR experience, including neuro experience.
• Recent travel assignment preferred.
• Ability to work hard, adapt to change, and demonstrate resilience and teamwork.
• Flexibility for mid-shift floating and interview availability Monday through Friday.

Skills

• Strong adaptability and social resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• 4x10-hour day shifts (variable start times between 0600-0900), Monday through Friday with possible weekends.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• On-call required 1x/week and every 6th weekend.
• Saturday and holiday rotations as scheduled.
