Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,400 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care during surgical procedures, supporting both patient safety and surgical team operations. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care during surgical procedures
• Support patient safety and surgical team operations
• Adhere to clinical protocols and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in float rotation as required
• Support students and new hires in a teaching hospital environment
• Take up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN License
• BLS certification
• 2 years of relevant specialty experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Vascular, Neuro, and da Vinci robotics experience
• Cerner experience preferred
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the submission packet

Schedule

• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 10 hours (6:45am-5:15pm)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40
• Up to 3 call shifts per week (including weekend call rotation)
• No more than 3 weekends over 6 weeks
• Orientation Dates: 9/21, 10/5 (held every other Monday only)
