About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Kenansville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assisting with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Maintaining sterile field and instrument counts
- Collaborating with other members of the surgical team
Requirements
- At least two proven years experience as a registered nurse
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registration as a registered nurse in North Carolina
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
