Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,370 per week

Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) in Alaska. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room environment at a magnet-designated acute hospital. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the operating room environment
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during various surgical procedures
• Provide care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgical cases
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage for call-offs
• Work on-call rotating shifts

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license in hand for auto-offer
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
• Proficiency in caring for trauma patients
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems, particularly Epic
• BLS certification required
• ACLS (Preferred)
• CNOR (Preferred)
• Must be available to start on 09/28/2026 and commit to working the contracted schedule, including holiday shifts
• Must include responses regarding prior experience at Providence facilities and references per policy

Schedule

• 3x12 Days, shift start times can vary between 6:45 AM to 9:30 AM
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
