Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,480 per week
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Johnson City, New York. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care, patient monitoring, and assisting surgical teams across various procedures. This role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to standards, and professional development within a dynamic OR environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties related to surgical procedures, patient preparation, and recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams and adhere to hospital policies
- Participate in continuing education and professional development initiatives
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care and patient monitoring
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- 0 years of experience required
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (preferred)
- CCRN certification (preferred)
- ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications as required by the home unit (preferred)
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts (6:00 am to 6:00 pm or as assigned)
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
