Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,320 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) nursing professionals are sought for a healthcare facility in a Days shift environment. This position involves providing perioperative care in a 1000+ bed hospital with a Level 1 trauma designation. The role supports all service lines except cardiac, transplant, and trauma/neuro, and requires circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma hospital environment
• Support all service lines except cardiac, transplant, and trauma/neuro
• Perform circulating duties in the operating room
• Work with adult patient population (no pediatric cases)
• Float between ORs as needed (not between locations)
• Flexibility for late stays, typically up to one hour past shift end

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and certifications relevant to perioperative nursing
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred
• Experience working in a large, high-acuity environment with adult patient population preferred

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 26 weeks (09/28/2026 – 03/27/2027)
• Orientation dates: 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28 (no orientation on 09/07 due to Labor Day)
• No blocks in schedule
• Float rotation may be required
