Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,320 per week

Operating Room (OR) nurse position based in a Level I trauma facility. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a hospital setting with a patient population including neuro, trauma, general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in a Level I trauma facility.
• Work night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Potential for Saturday and Sunday shifts, depending on unit needs.
• Work 2 of 3 holidays during the assignment.
• Float within the OR department as required.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of operative room experience in a Level 1 trauma environment.
• Prior travel experience in similar settings.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption by the start date.

Qualifications

Required

• Certification, education, and experience as specified in the requirements.

Preferred

• Experience with open heart, transplant, trauma/neuro cases.
• Familiarity with robotic and hybrid procedures.

Schedule

• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
• Orientation dates: 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/26 (no orientation on 9/21 or 10/19).
• Minimal time off permitted; limit of 5-7 days during the assignment.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
