Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,195 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing support within a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures, with advanced skills in neurosurgical and general/robotic surgeries preferred. The role offers an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including a unique robotic digital microscope used only in this region.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized surgical nursing support in a busy OR unit
• Circulate in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures
• Assist with neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies
• Support robotic and general surgeries, including urology and cardiovascular procedures such as open heart surgeries
• Operate and manage state-of-the-art surgical equipment, including electrosurgical units, Neptune suction, patient positioning devices, and the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) national certification
• Current Tennessee nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the operating room
• Prior experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures
• Neurosurgical and robotic surgery experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and customer service skills

Schedule

• Days shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026
