Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,195 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in spine and joint procedures in a healthcare facility located in the Denver metropolitan area. This position involves supporting a specialized unit with a focus on spine fusions, ALIFs, total joint replacements, and other complex surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Support a specialized OR unit focused on spine fusions, Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF), total joint replacements, and other spine and joint cases.
• Adhere to on-call procedures with a 30-minute response time for on-call shifts (no overnight shifts required for night call Monday through Friday).

Requirements

• Valid surgical nursing license.
• Current hospital Operating Room (OR) experience of at least 1 year.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Spine and joint surgical experience.
• Preferred: Prior Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Preferred: Joint scrub experience.

Unit Information

• Beds: 3 ORs for Spine and Total Joint, plus 4 for the International Hip Preservation Center.
• Staff: Approximately 60 staff members, including charge RN and unit secretary during day shift.
• Equipment: Spinal and joint surgical equipment, Meditech EMR system.
• Recent Upgrades: New surgical tools and instrumentation.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift.
• Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 09/21/2026.
• End Date: 12/21/2026 (13 weeks).
