Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $1,680 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse responsible for managing and supporting perioperative patient care during surgical procedures. Duties include ensuring patient safety, preparing the surgical environment, assisting the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field, preparing the surgical suite, verifying patient information, assisting with sterile procedures, monitoring patient safety, and managing fluid management across vascular, general, gynecology, orthopedic, podiatry, robotics, ENT, urology, and plastics surgeries. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Start date: 10/12/2026; duration: 13 weeks; employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support perioperative patient care during surgical procedures

Requirements

• RN license required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• PA unrestricted license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certifications

Qualifications

• Circulating nurse experience in the OR
• Experience assisting with surgical procedures
• Experience managing documentation
• Experience coordinating with surgical team members
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing procedures (a plus)
