Travel Operating Room First Assistant RN - $2,935 per week

Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves assisting surgeons during procedures, including suturing and wound closure, within a growing surgical unit that will soon welcome additional orthopedic surgeons. The position supports a team-focused environment and requires providing high-quality care in the operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures
• Perform suturing and wound closure
• Support a team of orthopedic and general surgeons with surgical procedures
• Work well both independently and within a team environment

Requirements

• Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR
• At least 2 years of experience working in surgical or operating room environments

Qualifications

• Experience with general, urology, and orthopedic surgeries (preferred)
• Scrub experience (preferred)

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts (evenings)
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• No call, no holidays
