Travel Operating Room First Assistant RN - $2,415 per week

Job Summary

The Surgical First Assistant RN supports surgeons by performing tasks such as suturing, providing exposure, and controlling bleeding. This role also supports operating room readiness before, during, and after surgery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday with call 23 days per week; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Kentucky license (must be held/maintained)
• Surgical Assistant Certification through the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure
• Credential through either the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA)
• Ability to support surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team
• Minimum 23 years of experience in the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience
