About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Med/Tele Unit. This unit specializes in the care of patients with conditions such as Osteomyelitis, Chemotherapy, Small Bowel Obstruction, Sepsis, and TRAM. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility to adapt to the needs of the facility and may be required to float to other units as necessary.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)
- Rotating schedule: one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least one holiday shift required during the contract
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care in an Oncology Med/Tele Unit specializing in hematology/oncology conditions. Adapt to facility needs, including floating to other units as required.
Requirements
- At least one year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry and oncology nursing
- Minimum of two years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
