Travel Oncology RN - $2,021 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in Wichita, Kansas, starting 11/08/2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts with a top healthcare client.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients.
• Administer chemotherapy.
• Implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patient progress.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and families.
• Provide care across all disease stages, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist post‑surgical to near‑terminal patients in managing disease and treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and disease particularities.
• May specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
