About the role
The inpatient Oncology unit in Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a chemo certified oncology RN for a Days shift working 12's as needed with some weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for side effects and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Chemo and Biotherapy certifications.
- At least 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
- Experience with inpatient oncology settings.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
