Travel Oncology Registered Nurse - $1,808 per week
About the role
A hospital in the Kansas City area is in need of an Oncology RN to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 8 hour days and must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. RN should have radiation oncology experience, BLS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification, will be working with 2 EMR systems- ARIA and Cerner. Must have KS RN or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Current RN license in Kansas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
- Experience with ARIA and Cerner EMR systems
