Travel Oncology Registered Nurse - $1,887 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13-week assignment in Harvey, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for travel nursing and providing exceptional patient care.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of oncology-specific protocols and procedures.
