Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized care plans to improve daily functional skills.
• Review medical histories and assess patient needs.
• Create treatment goals.
• Assist patients with task performance and daily activities/adaptations.
• Evaluate home or workplace environments and recommend improvements.
• Educate families, employers, and patients.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on its use.
• Document patient progress according to guidelines for evaluations and billing.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred).
• Current BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification.
• State-specific licensure.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with physical capability to bend and stoop.

Schedule

Travel role with 40 hours/week, 8-hour day shifts.
