About the role
Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating and developing care plans for patients with various disabilities in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Review medical histories
- Evaluate patient needs
- Create treatment plans
- Assist patients with daily tasks
- Assess home/work environments
- Educate families and employers
- Recommend equipment
- Document progress
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Perform assessments
- Develop and implement treatment strategies
- Educate stakeholders
- Evaluate environments

- Provide timely documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience (new graduates encouraged)
- NBCOT‑OTR certification
- State licensing
- BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
