Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the Role

This position is for a Travel Occupational Therapist responsible for providing therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will work in a state-of-the-art 41-bed facility equipped with advanced technology, including full IADL kitchens, and collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role requires adaptability, hands-on clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and treatments in accordance with unit policies.
• Manage Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL).
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions.
• Track treatment time and charges accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care Occupational Therapy experience.
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of electrical stimulation (ESTIM), patient lifts, and rehabilitation equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation is required; neuro certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend rotations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
