Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $1,966 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift, 5x8 schedule with shifts running 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday schedule preferred; Monday–Friday candidates considered if willing to work one to two Saturdays per month with a flex weekday off
• One weekend day required per month
• Floating to other areas required on an as-needed basis
• Patient population includes stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehabilitation cases
• CARF-accredited rehabilitation program
• Cerner/MedConnect EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Maryland OT license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of OT experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience treating stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehab patient populations
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
