Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab Acute Rehab - $2,600 per week

About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The role covers both Rehab and Acute Rehab settings, evaluating and treating patients in outpatient and inpatient environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic occupational therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Independently manage a full caseload.
• Determine when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
• Work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required by hospital operations.
• Utilize EMR systems: Net Health Therapy and Meditech.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in outpatient and acute settings working with adults.
• Active Hawaii Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain one before the start date).
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross.

Schedule

• Duration: 26 weeks.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM).
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
