The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in either outpatient or inpatient contexts. Responsibilities include planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician. Responsibilities Evaluate and re-evaluate patients as necessary. Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on physician prescriptions. Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs. Independently manage a full caseload. Knowledge of insurance authorization processes for re-evaluations. Work during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as required by hospital operations. Equipment Utilized EMR – Net Health Therapy Meditech Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and acute settings, specifically working with adults. Current Hawaii State Occupational Therapist license is required by the start of the assignment. BLS certification from the American Red Cross is necessary.
