About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in outpatient and acute rehabilitation settings in Hilo, Hawaii. The successful candidate will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients, planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician. This position requires managing a full caseload independently and regularly updating treatment plans and home exercise programs based on insurance authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Implement therapeutic occupational therapy programs based on patient needs.
• Manage a full caseload independently and perform necessary re-evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.
• Utilize EMR systems (Net Health Therapy and Meditech) for patient documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and acute rehabilitation settings.
• Current Hawaii Physical Therapist License required prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
