Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient

About the role

Inpatient Occupational Therapist providing acute care services in a busy hospital unit in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit has 175 beds and 60 therapy staff members. The position may require float rotation, background clearance, and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy in a fast-paced environment with a rotating schedule that includes weekends and on-call duties.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapy providers.
• Provide inpatient therapy, work with a diverse team, and adapt to schedule rotations, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid OT certification and licensure for Alaska.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• At least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Experience in inpatient settings (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills (preferred).

• Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule.
• Demonstrate proficiency in inpatient therapy.
