About the role
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) in a healthcare setting in Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in inpatient and outpatient environments
- Develop and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians
- Manage a full caseload independently
- Ensure adherence to treatment protocols and insurance authorizations
- Provide inpatient occupational therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with treatment and insurance requirements
- Manage patient caseload efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in adult outpatient and inpatient care
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross
- Flexibility to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays
- Experience with EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech is preferred
Skills
- Strong assessment and therapeutic plan development skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation systems
