American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health role supporting an EMR transition, requiring at least one year of Home Health experience and comfort precepting other clinicians.

Assignment Overview

• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hrs/wk
• Start Date: Oct 12, 2026
• Length: 6 weeks
• Openings: 2
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, no RTO accepted

Responsibilities

• First three weeks focus on HCHB PointCare training, with in-person sessions Tuesday–Thursday and virtual sessions Monday and Friday
• Final three weeks involve on-site go-live support and precepting current travelers and staff
• Serve as a preceptor providing real-time guidance to current travelers and Compassus staff during EMR go-live
• Support the transition to HCHB PointCare across Providence Oregon locations
• Clinicians should not expect to provide bedside care for the majority of the contract, aside from potential ride-along support
• Gain experience with HCHB, precepting, EMR implementation, and AI-supported tools

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist license required if applicable (Oregon license pending is acceptable)
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required
• HCHB PointCare/mobile app experience preferred
• Must be tech savvy, reliable, personable, and comfortable supporting and teaching others
