Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Home Health (OT HH) position available in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to geriatric patients within a designated territory, focusing on improving patient functional abilities through various rehabilitation techniques. The position requires flexibility in territory coverage and adherence to documentation standards. The work includes completing home health visits for geriatric patients, with an average of 5-7 patients per day, along with timely communication, documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols. First-time travelers are not accepted.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid license in hand
  • At least 2 years of recent home health experience
  • Recent OASIS experience for staff completing Start of Care (SOC)
  • Proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
  • BLS certification
  • Active driver's license and personal transportation
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
  • Experience with geriatric patient population

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with acute care, activities of daily living, biofeedback, cardiac rehabilitation, edema massage, electrical stimulation, feeding techniques, TENS, ultrasound, joint and soft tissue injury management, prosthetics, splints, and home health modules

Clinical & Operational Details

  • All travelers are expected to be flexible with territory and maintain timely documentation and communication
  • On-call rotation may be required and should be discussed during interview
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application
  • All travelers must have an active driver's license and personal transportation
  • Modules are billable and completed during orientation
  • Travelers are accepted as travel pairs but will be assigned to their own territory
  • Mandatory Monday orientation session
