Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant - $1,650 per week

About the role

A Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed in Hamburg, IA. This assignment is for 13 weeks and the setting is Hospital. 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to promote recovery and independence.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Iowa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Experience in hospital or outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and principles.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
