About the role
Travel Occupational Therapist providing therapy services to patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, helping them regain daily skills.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs
- Developing treatment plans
- Providing therapy
- Educating patients and families
- Documenting progress
- Providing therapy services in a healthcare facility
- Ensuring patient safety
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Floating between facilities may be required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license
- Minimum 2 years of adult care experience
- Experience with adaptive equipment, hip fractures, joint replacements, lifting, transfers, safety, and documentation
