About the role

An Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for providing rehabilitation services to patients requiring assessment and treatment for their medical conditions and functional limitations. This role involves providing direct patient care in a hospital or clinical setting, with responsibilities including evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment goals, and working with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine their needs and potential for rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient capacity and goals.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions following physician directives.
• Evaluate and modify care plans to meet therapy objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and assess patient progress.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience.
• Current state license or actively applying for licensure as an OT.
• Current CPR certification.
