Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - $2,349 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in O'Fallon, Missouri.

About the Role

This is a 12-week travel assignment starting on September 21, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy for adult care, including adaptive equipment, hip fracture/total hip replacement, and knee injuries/total knee replacement
• Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and CVA rehabilitation
• Educate patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and adaptive techniques
• Manage lifting/transfer procedures and discharge planning
• Document care and communicate via telephone calls
• Work with diagnoses including ortho, neuro, ICU, tele, and med-surg patients
• Chart using EPIC (preferred) or other systems

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy (no first-timers accepted)
• BLS certification and active state license (see state-specific details below)
• Experience with adult care, adaptive equipment, hip/knee replacements, and acute care
• Skills in lifting/transfer, patient/family education, safety/injury prevention, and documentation
• Travel experience required
• Every 6th full weekend worked

State License Information

• Missouri: Submission without license is acceptable
• Illinois: License must be in hand at time of submission
• Compact States: Must match permanent residence
• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal/lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay may vary and is subject to change during the assignment.
