About the role
Nightingale Nurses - Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in home health settings
- Treat patients with a caseload of up to 6 visits per day, averaging 115 patients per day
- Work in a team environment with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure all patient care documentation is accurate and timely
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Georgia
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) by October 1, 2026
- Epic experience preferred but not required
- Completion of an online HCHB course ($250) if lacking experience with HCHB, to be paid upfront by the traveler
- Average daily mileage of 50-100 miles, reimbursable at IRS standard rate through HCHB
