About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position in Stockton, California.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patients needing to improve, regain and develop skills needed for daily life.
- Work in disabled, ill or injured patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Perform tasks such as reviewing patients' medical history, asking questions, observing tasks, evaluating conditions and needs, developing treatment plans, helping with daily tasks, assessing home/workplace needs, educating families and employers, recommending equipment, and documenting activities and progress.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
- Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Pay
