Job Summary
The role involves providing therapy services to adult and geriatric patient populations within an acute inpatient setting. The therapist will collaboratively establish and implement individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to discharge planning in a Level I trauma acute care environment.
Schedule
- Working days Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (start time flexible up to 0800)
- One weekend (Saturday and Sunday) during each 4-week period, resulting in a day off during that week
Required Qualifications
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid State license
- 1 year of experience in an acute care or Level I trauma hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic charting system EPIC
- Prior inpatient acute care experience
- Trauma level I or II experience
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment assessment
Additional Information
- The therapist will establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Delegate tasks appropriately
- Document accurately according to departmental policies
- Utilize specialized equipment such as vital carts, IPAD interpreters, and ADL supplies

No; the geographic radius requirement is 75 miles
RTO Restrictions
- No more than 7 days within the 13-week contract, requiring manager approval for additional days

Yes, a minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week period

Pay Package
Based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
