About the role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a position in Canaan, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records (EHR).
Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of various physical and cognitive impairments.
- Knowledgeable in rehabilitation techniques and patient-centered care.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
