About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP at a SNF in Gardnerville, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Evaluate resident progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Document all services provided in accordance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant work experience
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
