About the role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Machias, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
- Assist physicians with deliveries and manage postpartum care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Document patient care and treatment in medical records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
- Knowledge of postpartum care practices.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, starting as soon as possible, for a duration of 13 weeks.
