Travel Nursing Instructor- Chicagoland Area

About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking Master's-prepared nurses to join its travel teaching team in the Chicagoland area. The role involves teaching NCLEX preparation classes across the United States, offering a chance to impact future nurses and expand professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple in-person NCLEX preparation sessions at various locations throughout the year
• Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students for an excellent student experience
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and ongoing instructional meetings as required

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters required
• A current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Travel required - lead time, locations, and dates will be determined based on business needs and availability
