Travel Clinical Nurse Instructor (Michigan Area)
About the role
Nightingale College is a nursing school committed to transforming healthcare access. This role involves traveling to various healthcare facilities across the U.S. to provide clinical education to learners in Practical Nursing, Practical to Associate Degree Nursing, and Baccalaureate Nursing programs.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate learner instruction across clinical settings at partner facilities nationwide
- Teach and evaluate learners enrolled in PN, LPN to ASN, and BSN programs
- Maintain open communication with learners and submit required performance grades on time
- Monitor learner attendance, performance, and comprehension
- Uphold partner facility standards and hold learners accountable
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and shared governance
- Contribute to faculty development and institutional initiatives
What You Bring
- Minimum qualifications: Graduate degree in nursing, RN or APRN license, CNE credential, 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, current immunization and certification records, proficiency in modern technology platforms
- Preferred qualifications: 2+ years of experience supervising clinical education activities, 1+ year of experience delivering Concept-Based Nursing Education, 1+ year of distance education experience, familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management software
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours) during clinical instruction
- Assist in demonstrating skills requiring reaching, bending, and manual dexterity
- Lift, carry, or move educational equipment up to 25–50 lbs
- Respond rapidly in clinical settings, including emergency situations
- Communicate effectively in busy environments, including while wearing PPE

$93,500—$102,850 USD
