This position involves providing patient care in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and supporting patients with complex needs. The assignment offers an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a busy hospital setting, contributing to patient safety and recovery. Job Details Position Description: Focus on caring for surgical patients, including those undergoing major abdominal surgeries, plastics, ENT, and orthopedic procedures. The unit handles abdominal surgery, abdominal trauma, and post-surgical care, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6. Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; valid license to submit; experience in a busy hospital setting and previous travel experience preferred. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible on scheduling, able to float as needed, and have cardiac drip experience. EPIC electronic medical record system knowledge is required. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience, including previous travel assignments and experience in high-volume hospitals.
