Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,315 per week

About the Role

29 bed unit staffed with RNs and CNA/CCTs. Staffing matrix is between 1:4-6 patients. Ancillary staff includes, but is not limited to, a Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and Physical and Occupational Therapists. Patient population is a combination of tele and medical status patients; all tele patients are monitored remotely by a CCT. Patient population includes treatment of any medical or stable telemetry diagnoses - COPD, sepsis, COVID and other respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, DM, GI bleed, etc. May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well as Renown South Meadows. Extremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care in a 29-bed unit
• Monitor patients remotely via CCT
• Treat patients with medical and stable telemetry diagnoses
• Float to Intensive Care Units, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows as needed

Requirements

• Registered Nurse, Telemetry
• Licenses: RN-NV
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history
• References: 2 References in entire work history
• 60-mile radius rule
• NV state background check with fingerprints required to start; this process can take up to 45 days
