Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,035 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing specialized nursing care for telemetry patients in a hospital setting. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to monitor and manage cardiac patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift with shift hours of 12 hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• At least 1 year of experience as a telemetry nurse
• Current licensure in Virginia or ability to obtain
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac drips
• Strong cardiac background
• SD/PCU experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Surgical (Med/Surge) units
• Reliable and team-oriented personality
• Excellent attendance record

Additional Information

• The unit contains 23 beds with a staff of 28, including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs.
• The unit utilizes telemetry equipment and electronic medical records.
• All staff are expected to wear scrubs, with all black attire or black pants with a red top for RNs.
• The position involves working every other weekend, including some on-call shifts, to support patient care needs.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
