About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, New York. This role involves caring for patients with a wide range of conditions, including complex cases, in a Telemetry unit. The unit monitors blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and cardiac electrical activity using specialized equipment. RNs will primarily care for patients recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery.
Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, or nights (D/E/N). Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients in the Telemetry unit, focusing on those recovering from heart conditions or cardiac surgery.
- Utilize specialized equipment to track vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and cardiac electrical activity.
- Manage complex patient cases in a professionally challenging and innovative work environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in Telemetry nursing.
Location

Pay
Pay rate: $1,984.00 - $2,086.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
