Job Details Location: Asheville, North Carolina Position Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: A3 West Med Surg tele. Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Required Qualifications: BLS certification, experience in medical/surgical nursing, telemetry unit experience preferred, ability to start on 10/26/2026 and end by 01/25/2027. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly. Additional Information: The unit consists of 38 beds with staffing including charge RNs, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and a unit secretary. The team uses Cerner Powerchart electronic medical records. Typical procedures include peripheral IV starts and dressing changes. The unit values team players with a positive attitude who can help others proactively. Flexibility in floating to other medical-surgical units or the emergency department holding units may be required. Dress code is navy, white, or a combination of both. No specific experience requirement beyond basic medical-surgical and telemetry skills.
