About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: Ratios 1:3-5, ICU 1:3, IMC/PCU 1:3-4, MS1:5, 2 RN in department at all times. Team nursing with RN and LPN to take a total of 7 patients.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Pneumonia/Covid, Post OP- knees, hips, falls.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of experience, excellent patient care, great documentation. Must have 1 year PCU (MS-Tele experience only not appropriate) or prior ICU experience. Will accept travel duos. Will accept first time travelers. Must have Cerner experience.
- Radiology: Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes. Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amiodarone Heparin- IMCU. Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine, pressors- ICU
Requirements
