Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,470 per week

About the role

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week position in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Caring for cardiac, vascular, thoracic surgery, and post-operative cardiac patients.
• Comfortable with chest tubes, epicardial pacing, telemetry-level care, and titratable cardiac drips.
• Experience in recent cardiovascular stepdown, PCU, or telemetry positions.
• Ability to manage chest tube procedures and titrate drips according to ordered parameters.
• Comfortable with post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Recent cardiovascular stepdown, PCU, or telemetry experience.
• Epicardial pacing experience.
• Chest tube management skills.
• Ability to titrate drips according to ordered parameters.
• Experience caring for post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least one year of recent stepdown, PCU, or telemetry experience preferred.
• Comfortable with post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.

Schedule

The schedule is 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating between night and day shifts, with no call.
