Required Experience
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- MUST HAVE SURGICAL STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE AT A LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER
- IMCU/Stepdown experience
- auto med dispensing
- and more than 1 previous travel assignment
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Tel test and CC Med test on day 1
Preferred Experience
- Tertiary facility experience
- Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients
- 38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4 or 1:4-5 if MedSurg patients
