Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,182 per week

About the role

34-bed Stepdown / PCU unit seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. Patient ratios are typically 1:5, with floating required within scope of practice. Strict scheduling requires an 84-hour pay period split (3x12 one week, 4x12 the next week).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a step-down or post-acute care setting.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Assess and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of current experience in the specialty required.
• Active Kentucky or compact nursing license in hand at submission (No exceptions; locals not accepted—must reside at least 75 miles away).
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license (address must match permanent address and ARH coversheet).
• Middle name confirmation required.
• Strict limit of max 7 days RTO presented up front.
• 2 required references completed within the last year (1 Charge or higher, 1 supervisor).
