About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing for a 13-week assignment in De Pere, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, stoma care, Wound Vacs, peg tubes, j-tubes, g-tubes, Foley catheter care, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, basic trach care, and IV fluids and antibiotics.
- Should be comfortable starting IVs and drawing labs if IV certified.
- Work in various units such as Rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC, and Short Term Stay Units.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 15:1 (up to 20:1) for Short Term Stay and Rehab settings, and 25:1 for LTC/SNF settings.
- Float to all units within the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LTC/SNF/LTAC/Rehab setting.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- IV certification preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing.
Skills
- Skilled in wound care, stoma care, and IV procedures.
- Comfortable working in various healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with patient ratios and unit-specific care needs.
- Ability to float to multiple units within the facility.

Schedule
